HT (High Tension) and LT (Low Tension) cables are terms used in electrical systems to denote the type of voltage they are designed to handle.
- Armoured Cables
- UnArmoured Cables
- Underground/ Trenches cables
- Cables Laid on Trades
- HT Cables (High Tension Cables):
- Voltage Range: Typically used for voltages above 1.1 kV (1100 volts). Commonly, HT cables are used in power transmission and distribution networks where the voltage levels are high.
- Construction: HT cables are designed with robust insulation and shielding to handle high voltages and prevent electrical leakage or short circuits. They often have thicker insulation and additional layers of protection.
- LT Cables (Low Tension Cables):
- Voltage Range: Typically used for voltages Below 1.1 kV. LT cables are used in residential, commercial, and light industrial applications where the voltage is lower.
- Construction: LT cables have comparatively thinner insulation and less shielding compared to HT cables. They are designed to handle lower voltage levels and are often more flexible for easier installation in confined spaces.
Based on the single line diagram, Cable schedule and subsequent cable length will be prepared by Our team and get approval from project incharge before cut the cables from the Cable Drums.
While installation, care to be taken by us for Cable twists will not be happen in the installation.
Cables laying will be done as per the requirement of the site whether it is underground or trenching or on cable trays.
Cable identification tags will be provided on the both the sides of the cable ends.
proper glanding & Terminations will be done by us based on the requirement.
